The Centre for Clinical Trials of the Chinese University of Hong Kong will collaborate with the Cancer Center of Sun Yat-sen University to establish a research and technology platform for promoting international quality standard in anti-cancer drug research and development in mainland China. The Platform was one of the important projects under the China's 11th Five-Year Plan. Professor JIANG Wen-Qi, Cancer Center of Sun Yat-sen University, is the key Coordinator to coordinate the development of clinical research in different specialities among the Cancer Center. Professor Benny Chung-Ying Zee, Director of Centre for Clinical Trials, will provide clinical research design and international quality control system development.

創新藥物研究開發技術平台建設 — 抗癌藥物臨床研究

香港中文大學臨床試驗中心與中山大學腫瘤防治中心合作推廣、建立國際認可和符合國際標準的臨床研究開發技術平台，用以推動國內臨床研究達致國際化規範水平。作為國家科技部十一五的一個重要項目，中山大學腫瘤防治中心腫瘤醫院內科學教授姜文奇教授將主力協調防治中心內各專業的臨床研究項目發展進程，香港中文大學臨床試驗中心主管徐仲鍈教授將擔任研究項目的顧問，提供研究設計及國際化質量管理等專業建議。
