The University Pathology Service (UPS) (http://www.acp.cuhk.edu.hk/ups) acts as a central laboratory for the Centre of Clinical Trials and offers comprehensive testing services for histology, cytology, haematology, chemistry, microbiology, virology and molecular pathology.

UPS is supported by the Chinese University of Hong Kong and serves medical centres and patients outside of the Hospital Authority’s gamut. Our laboratories in the areas listed above are accredited by the joint accreditation scheme of the National Testing Authorities (NATA) of Australia and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australia, and through an agreement of mutual recognition, the Hong Kong Accreditation Authority.
